The end of the project is here and we wanted to show our work to our parents. We invited the parents to our school and showed them what we did during the all school year and how our interactive documents work.

Another success - The Dutch Quality label

An other success in our project! We have just been awarded the Dutch Quality label!
Now we have 2 national Quality labels for our project. That means we will get the International European Quality Label for our project.
This prize will automaticaly be awarded to us. It will be handed out twice a year and will appear on www.etwinning.net.

Evaluation

The evaluation of our project was not only to ask for Quality Labels in our countries but we made evaluation with pupils too.

Videoconference

Today we tried to make a videoconference. The task for the conference was to make evaluation of our project, because our project is ending and we want of course to see and to speak each other.
We had some technical problem at the beginning of conference, but we made the best and it managed. It was very funny and nice, we spoke and wrote, we saw our partners from the teams, which communicated during the all school year in groups.
The next part of the evaluations was to answer some questions about our project.

Good manners

The last interactive documents in our project are about the topic "Good manners". The Czech team ahs finished the document. This document is really funny. You can see the trip with the team from the Czech Republic. During this trip we made photos and learnt about good manners in the train, bus, street, forest etc.

Monster´s animals

Because of the topic of the month - Animals, wrote the Czech team descriptions of imaginary animals. The task for the pupils from Holland was to draw the animals according the descriptions. The pictures are very nice and you can see them on our TwinSpace. Here are some examples. The Dutch pupils are preparing the same tasks for the Czech team now.

Petr´s animal´s desription

My monster´s name is „Pacicka”. It´s favourite food are rabbit´s foots. It lives in the forests and high grass. It eats animals. „Pacicka” measures 1 m, weighs 70kg, it is wide 30cm. His body cover black stinks hairs. „Pacicka” has 2 heads. On the every head there are small horns, long hairs, 2 spiky ears, 5 eyes, 2 nose and big mouth. It´s got 6 arms and two are without fingers, it stands on 3 legs. On the legs there are long claws and at the back it has a tail with sharp spines. WARNING! „Pacicka” behaves like and angel but is like devil!

My imaginary monster is a Spined Dog.It lives in deep swamps and in rocks.My monster is ten metres high.Its head is similar to a dog and its body too.It is five metres long and it weighs five tons.It has long hair. It is very big and it is brown.It has one head and on the head there are big spiky ears and one red eye and it has a spiky nose.It has a long body, four long legs and a very long tail.It has a small neck. The Spined Dog doesn´t like people who go to school and sometimes it watches television all day.

Our first big succes. Our project is the Dutch project of the month! Our project was proclaimed as a project of the March. Each month introduce the Dutch National support service one of the Dutch project, which are interesting, successful and motivative for other Dutch schools, which want to create international eTwinning projects. A visit of our Dutch partners in the Czech school

We eagerly expected the visit of our Dutch e-twinning partners which was planned two months ago. On Monday 3 November it came into reality. Our visitors (Ferdinand – a director of five schools in the Netherlands and two teachers – Rina and Maikee) arrived at the airport of Vienna. After they borrowed a car and came to Mikulov, where they met a Czech teacher Ivana who showed them the town of Mikulov and its castle.

In the evening they accomodated in the Rustical Hotel and went for a dinner with our teachers Ivana and Pavla. At night they strolled in the streets of our historical town of Hustopeče.

The next day was busy too. In the morning our Dutch friends visited our school where they met the kids who are supposed to work on our common project. They introduced to them and vice-versa, the children sang a song for them and asked questions about their country, their town, their school and their system of education. The atmosphere was very pleasant and everybody enjoyed the two hours spent together. At the end our children sent the Dutch kids little presents they prepared themselves- wristbands of friendship, also some souvenirs from Hustopeče.

After the children left it was time to start working on our project. We discussed and planned all details so as the project was successful. Nobody noticed the time passing and so it was half past three suddenly and time for lunch.

After lunch our entertaining visitors wished to see Brno and so they set out sightseeing there. In the evening they had lunch in the Mexican Restaurant in Hustopeče and went to their hotel room.
The next morning they went to see our school for the last time. Ivana showed them round, they saw the classrooms, talked to pupils and the director of our school and signed the children´s memory books. We shared teaching experience in our countries. The comparison was very interesting for us and gave us a lot to think about.

At the end we summed up the visit at a short working lunch, gave them some presents ( Ivana got a present as well – a watch) and our colleagues set out on the road with the direction of Vienna again.

The result of the visit? A well prepared project which we are all looking forward to, an invitation for Ivana to visit the Dutch school in February, learning about the Dutch teaching philosophy which was very inspiring for us. WE ARE VERY GRATEFUL FOR IT
